The F1953 digital step attenuator featuring Glitch-Free™ technology improves system reliability and settling time. It has an attenuation range of 31.5dB with excellent accuracy and very low distortion. In addition, it features internal DC-blocking capacitors to reduce the system's bill of materials (BOM).

Evaluation Board for F1953 6-bit Digital Step Attenuator

The F1953EVBI is a fully populated evaluation board which allows the customer to easily evaluate the F1953 digital step attenuator. Attenuation may be set using either the F1953’s parallel control input or its serial control input. A dip switch on the evaluation board allows one to set the attenuation state without off-board connections to the control inputs.

The F1953EVS is a complete hardware and software solution that allows customers to digitally control the F1953EVBI with the USB output on a computer.  The kit includes the F1953EVBI board, as well as a USB Digital Control Board and interface cables. The software, guides , and instructional videos are available for download/viewing on this page.
