The F1440 is a high-linearity variable gain RF amplifier with an integrated digital step attenuator (DSA) designed to operate within the 500MHz to 1000MHz frequency range. Using a single 5V power supply, the F1440 typically provides 42.5dB of gain, 3.2dB of noise figure, 41.5dBm of OIP3, and 30dBm OP1dB at its maximum gain setting.

F1440 High-linearity Variable Gain Amplifier Evaluation Kit

The F1440EVK is a fully populated evaluation board that allows the customer to evaluate the F1440 Variable Gain Amplifier with an integrated digital step attenuator. The F1440 is controlled with serial communication input using a USB digital interface board that connects to the PC.

The F1440EVK consists of the following:

  • F1440 Evaluation Board
  • USB Digital Interface Board
  • USB Cable (USB-A to USB-B micro)

The F1440 Evaluation Board consists of the following:

  • SMA connectors for RF IOs and power supply connection
  • Header pins for power supply and digital interface connection
  • Jumper configurable power supply connection
  • Clip-on test point access for voltage sense
