The F0480 RF Variable Gain Amplifiers (VGA) featuring Glitch-Free™ and Zero-Distortion™ technologies greatly reduces attenuation overshoot during attenuation state changes and provides +41dBm OIP3 performance across a very wide bandwidth of 400MHz to 2700MHz at a typical current drain of 100mA. Furthermore, the device is internally matched so there is no need to optimize external matching elements.

Evaluation System for F0480 Matched Broadband RF VGA

The F0480EVS is a fully populated evaluation board which allows the customer to easily evaluate the F0480 RF VGA. The attenuation setting may be set using the F0480’s serial control input. Header pins on the evaluation board allow setting the band select and standby mode without off-board connections to the control inputs.

The F0480EVS is a complete hardware and software solution that allows customers to digitally control the F0480 with the USB output on a computer.  The kit includes the F0480 evaluation board, as well as a USB Digital Control Board and interface cables. The software, guides , and instructional videos are available for download/viewing on this page.
